Lib Dem prospective parliamentary candidate for Northampton North, Andrew Simpson, has made a last minute appeal to Lib Dem supporters to make sure they send their postal ballots back in time for Thursday's European Elections.
"Last time we elected our first Parliamentarian for the East Midlands with Nick Clegg MEP. That led to real growth of the party both in Northampton and in the Region. We won Chesterfield at the General Election whilst being the only major party to increase the share of our vote in Northampton. Last year's local elections saw us secure 46% of the vote across Northampton North constituency with Labour pushed into third place. With the European elections we have a real opportunity to do even better" said Andrew
