Come and air your views at the Northampton balloon festival

Andrew Simpson will be one of the Councillors helping out at the combined Borough & County Council stand at this years balloon festival where local residents and visitors will be invited to use the 'diary room' to tell the Council what they think of the town and the festival.

"This is an excellent idea" said Andrew Simpson who is Lib Dem Borough Councillor for Kingsley ward. "I hope people will take the opportunity to tell us what they like about Northampton and the Balloon festival and where they would like to see improvements. This innovative idea is real democracy in action".

The Northampton Balloon festival will take place on The Racecourse park from Thursday 18th August to Sunday 21st. It is the second largest festival in the country with around 70 hot air balloons expected in all shapes and sizes. There is a wide range of stalls and fair ground rides for all ages, and best off all entry is free.
