'Big' 40,000 Residents Survey Launched

Big Survey Andrew Simpson, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Northampton North Constituency has launched a 'Big' survey of 40,000 residents across the constituency. Over the next few weeks residents will receive an addressed survey that includes a range of questions from local issues such as the state of Northampton schools to their views on the MPs expenses scandal and the next election.

"This is about listening to people and responding to their views" said Andrew Simpson "Too often politicians spend time talking at people rather than trying to find out what actually matters to them. With the next election only no more than 6 months away it is important to gauge people's opinions on the issues that matter".

The survey is also available online to complete at www.andrew-simpson.org.uk. Residents who complete the survey have the chance to win an Ipod as a thank you for taking part. The deadline for submitting responses is 31st December 2009.

"The next election should not be about photos opportunities and smart advertising campaigns" continued Andrew "It should be about finding solutions to the problems that concern the people of Northampton".
