Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Northampton North, Andrew Simpson, is gearing up to take part in Wednesday's debate at the County Ground, organised by the Chronicle & Echo.

Where? - Northamptonshire Cricket Club's County Ground

When? - 7pm on Wednesday 28th April

Tickets are free to members of the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions will be taken from the floor on the night.

The event will be hosted by the Chron's assistant editor, Richard Edmondson.

Commenting ahead of the debate, Andrew said:

"I'm really looking forward to it.

"It's great that the Chron has organised a public debate, open to people in the heart of the constituency.

"My team and I are getting a great reception on the doorstep and, in a tight race with the Conservatives, I'm confident we can pull off an historic win on May 6."
