Fox Hunting is of a 'bygone age' and has no place in Modern Britain says Andrew Simpson

Andrew SImpson, the LIberal Democrat Parliamenatry Candidate for Daventry constituency, has voiced his opposition to any moves by Theresa May to bring back fox hunting through repealing the 2004 Hunting Act.
"I have always opposed fox hunting" said Andrew "It is cruel and barbaric and from a bygone age, Theresa May shows how out of touch she is with modern Britain by suggesting it should be brought back".
"I was brought up in the countryside and I have seen at first hand how destructive foxes can be, but that does not justify hunting them with hounds. This so called sport has no place in 21st century Britain".
" if elected as MP I would oppose such moves in Parliament".
Whilst the issue of fox hunting is usually a conscience vote, one of those subjects given a 'free vote' in Parliament, the Liberal Democrats have said that now is not the time to be debating the issue and that the country has far bigger issues to deal with and is opposed to another vote.
